DE / Die Arbeit «With My Hand - With Your Hand» verdichtet zwei diskursive Stränge. Sie verhandelt einerseits die individuelle Selbstberührung masturbatorischer Praktiken als Effekt des Normalismus und andererseits die Verbindung von Hygiene und Sexualität. Die Silikonelemente der Objekte sind Ausgüsse von Ejakulationstüchern, die im Zuge der Rezeption der meistgeklickten Porno-Videos der Webseite pornhub.com gefertigt wurden. Das Ergossene bewahrheitet die Authentizität einer Berührung und reiht sich zugleich in die Serie einer Mehrzahl.

Die Tätigung des Butterfly-Buttons der Objekte aktiviert den ins Silikonelement eingegossenen Vibrationsmotor. Dieser wiedergibt die Spannungskurve «hotspots» (eingeführt von pornhub.com 2018) des jeweils zur Fertigung des Ejakulationstuchs rezipierten Porno-Videos. Die Rezipierenden können die Höhepunkte mit ihren Händen erfühlen das individuelle Begehren der Selbstberührung verschwindet im Vielen.

«With My Hand - With Your Hand» wurde 2021 im Rahmen der BA-Ausstellung des Studiengangs Art Gender Nature im Ausstellungsraum OSLO der Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Basel FHNW gezeigt.

ENG / The work «With My Hand - With Your Hand» condenses two discursive strands. On the one hand, it deals with the individual self-touching of masturbatory practices as an effect of normalism and, on the other, with the connection between hygiene and sexuality. The silicone elements of the objects are spouts from ejaculation wipes that were produced in the course of watching the most clicked porn videos on the website pornhub.com. The ejaculatory spout proves the authenticity of touch and, at the same time, joins the series of a plurality.

Pressing the butterfly button on the objects activates the vibration motor cast into the
silicone element. This reproduces the tension curve «hotspots» (introduced by pornhub.com in 2028) of the porn video received to produce the ejaculation cloth. The recipients can feel the climaxes with their hands and the individual desire to touch oneself disappears in the many.

«With My Hand - With Your Hand» was shown in 2021 as part of the group exhibition by Bachelor students of the Institute Art Gender Nature, Academy of Art and Design Basel FHNW at OSLO exhibition space.
